Quality Policy
Adopted by Senate Decision No. 2020/14 dated 09.12.2020, Balıkesir
University’s Quality Policy is as follows:
Within the framework of the university’s mission, vision, core values,
and goals:

Ensure the development of education, training,
research, internationalization, and social contribution processes with a
continuous improvement approach based on stakeholder satisfaction.
·
Establish an organizational structure to conduct
education, research, and community service activities within the framework of
international collaborations, thereby increasing the international
competitiveness and recognition of both the institution and the country.
·
Promote a culture of quality at the institutional
level by prioritizing in-service training and teamwork across all service areas
of the university.
Education Policy
Adopted by Senate Decision No. 2020/14 dated 09.12.2020:
Within the framework of the university’s mission, vision, core values,
and goals:

Update the educational curriculum in line with
contemporary requirements and universal scientific understanding.
·
Train individuals who produce up-to-date knowledge and
technology for national and international institutions and are preferred as
first-choice candidates.
·
Provide student-centred education to cultivate
individuals who are investigative, inquisitive, critical thinkers, respectful
of human rights, environmentally conscious, and committed to Atatürk’s
principles and reforms.
Research and Development Policy
Adopted by Senate Decision No. 2020/14 dated 09.12.2020:
Within the framework of the university’s mission, vision, core values,
and goals:

Produce knowledge in scientific research activities
considering regional, national, and international priorities, and ensure its
utilization for societal benefit.
·
Provide administrative, physical, technical, and
financial infrastructure to support scientific research and create an
environment where researchers can follow current developments and generate
knowledge, ensuring continuity.
·
Encourage interdisciplinary and national/international
collaborative scientific studies, monitor research outputs, and facilitate
their dissemination.
Social Contribution Policy
Adopted by Senate Decision No. 2020/14 dated 09.12.2020:
Within the framework of the university’s mission, vision, core values,
and goals:

Encourage faculty and students to develop projects
addressing social, cultural, economic, scientific, and technological issues
based on regular feedback from stakeholders at regional, national, and
international levels.
·
Organize education and certification programs in
selected fields to foster entrepreneurial motivation among stakeholders.
·
Support social responsibility projects and carry out
research and academic activities through university-public-NGO-industry
collaborations.
Internationalization Policy
Adopted by Senate Decision No. 2020/14 dated 09.12.2020:
Within the framework of the university’s mission, vision, core values,
and goals:

Ensure the continuous development of education,
research, and community service activities within the framework of
international collaborations.
·
Increase the number of qualified international
students, faculty, and researchers through exchange programs, and contribute to
intercultural interaction.
·
Enhance the university’s international recognition by
promoting institutional branding, corporate identity, and continuous quality
improvement.
Distance Education Policy
Adopted by Senate Decision No. 2020/14 dated 09.12.2020:
Within the framework of the university’s mission, vision, core values,
and goals:

Prepare distance education programs with stakeholder
participation and ensure they are conducted according to the academic standards
of face-to-face education, with quality control in place.
·
Evaluate stakeholder satisfaction in terms of distance
education programs, learning outcomes, and achievements, comparing them with
face-to-face education.
·
Establish the necessary technological infrastructure
to ensure sustainable distance education, providing access to information
resources and enabling their effective use.
