The Conference on Economics and Social Sciences Was Held at BUBFA (Burhaniye Faculty of Applied Sciences)
Balıkesir University (BAUN) Burhaniye Faculty of Applied Sciences (BUBFA) hosted another international academic event. The 14th International Conference on Economics and Social Sciences (ICESOS) was held in the Şehit Savcı Mehmet Selim Kiraz Conference Hall of the faculty.
The opening ceremony was attended by District Garrison Commander Major Yusuf Kaya, District Gendarmerie Commander Lieutenant Colonel Ünal Bayhan, Police Chief Faik Karabaş, academics from Azerbaijan, and many faculty members.
In his opening speech, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Oğuzhan İlban, Dean of BUBFA and Chair of the Conference Executive Committee, emphasized that the event aimed to strengthen academic collaboration and bring together researchers from various disciplines.
The two-day conference brought together 228 academics representing 92 universities from 17 countries, both in person and online. Following the presentations, participants were awarded certificates. Guests expressed their satisfaction with the high quality of the organization and the productive academic exchange environment, extending their gratitude to the university administration.
