Our Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Solunoğlu Has Been Accepted into the European Union COST Research Network
Our faculty member, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali SOLUNOĞLU from the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, has been accepted into an international research network carried out within the COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) Program, supported by the European Union.
This research network conducts interdisciplinary studies across Europe on career opportunities, professional identity, the transformation of labor markets, and the evolving academic–professional environments. The network includes researchers from 46 different countries, with Türkiye, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden among the countries with the highest number of participants. This multinational structure enables the action to serve as a strong platform for academic collaboration at the European level.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali SOLUNOĞLU will make significant contributions to this international research network with his expertise in cultural heritage, gastronomy professions, creative labor, sustainable gastronomy, consumer behavior, and digital transformation. He is expected to take an active role in the research projects to be conducted, scientific publication efforts, and academic collaborations at the European scale.
