At Burhaniye Faculty of Applied Sciences, we regard education not merely as the transfer of knowledge, but as a holistic process that enables individuals to discover their potential and prepares them for life and the future. In line with this understanding, our primary goal is not only to equip our students with professional knowledge and skills, but also to cultivate individuals who think analytically, develop critical perspectives, possess strong problem-solving abilities, adhere to ethical values, demonstrate self-confidence, embrace social responsibility, and internalize universal values.
The departments within our Faculty—Tourism Management, Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, International Trade, and Finance and Banking—aim to educate our students in accordance with the dynamics of the business world through a practice-oriented educational approach. Each of our departments operates with an educational model that closely follows current developments in its field, establishes strong connections with industry, and places students at the center of the learning process. By integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application, our students are able to enter professional life after graduation in a more competent and confident manner.
In line with the vision of Balıkesir University, Burhaniye Faculty of Applied Sciences embraces an educational philosophy that prioritizes internationalization, innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability.
