In accordance with Article 19, paragraph 3 of Balıkesir University’s Education, Teaching, and Examination Regulations:
Students who, in order to graduate, have fulfilled the attendance and practical requirements for all courses except for internships but have received an “FF” grade in only one course, or who have passed all courses but failed to achieve a minimum GPA of 2.00, are granted the right to take a single course exam.
This right is given provided that the grade obtained from this exam can raise the student’s GPA to at least 2.00. To pass the single course exam, students must obtain a minimum grade of “DD.” The midterm grade is not taken into account when determining the final letter grade for this exam.
Single Course Exam Date: September 17, 2025
(The single course exam will be held face-to-face in the classrooms and at the times announced on the departments’ web pages.)
Application Date: September 15, 2025
(Applications submitted after this date will not be accepted.)
Application Procedure:
Applications must be made through the Student Information System (OBS) under the Application Procedures → Single Course Application Procedures module.
Students who cannot apply via OBS or experience issues during the application process must fill out and sign the Single Course Exam Application Form and send it by email to bubyo@balikesir.edu.tr. (You can access the form here.)
